Overview
The ISG series single-stage, single-suction pipeline centrifugal pumps are developed by refining and enhancing the performance parameters of the original IS-type pumps. This innovative design successfully addresses several limitations inherent in the IS model during operation. Featuring high efficiency, energy savings, low noise levels, stable performance, and easy maintenance, the ISG series represents the ideal next-generation replacement for IS pumps. Additionally, depending on the specific temperature requirements, the series includes specialized versions such as hot-water pumps, high-temperature pumps, corrosion-resistant pumps, and oil pumps. All products are designed and manufactured according to the international ISO 2858 standard and meet the stringent quality criteria outlined in the national JB/T 53058-93R standard issued by China’s Ministry of Machinery. Notably, these pumps passed the rigorous inspection conducted by the Ministry’s management system certification process in 1993.
Usage environment
1. ISG vertical pipeline pumps are designed for conveying clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. They are suitable for industrial and municipal water supply and drainage systems, boosting water pressure in high-rise buildings, providing irrigation for landscaping, ensuring fire protection through pressure boosting, enabling long-distance water transportation, supporting HVAC and refrigeration circulation systems, and enhancing cold/hot water circulation in applications like bathrooms—along with being ideal for equipment integration. The operating temperature is capped at T < 80°C.
2. The IRG (GRG)-type vertical pipeline hot water (high-temperature) circulation pumps are widely suitable for applications including boilers in industries such as energy, metallurgy, chemical processing, textiles, papermaking, as well as hotels and restaurants—specifically for boosting, circulating, and delivering high-temperature hot water, and for use in urban heating systems. The IRG model is designed for operating temperatures up to T < 120°C, while the GRG model can handle temperatures up to T < 240°C.
3. The IHG vertical chemical process pump is designed for conveying liquids free of solid particles, which are corrosive and have a viscosity similar to water. It is suitable for industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, power generation, papermaking, food & pharmaceuticals, and synthetic fibers, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 120°C.
4. The YG vertical pipeline oil pump is designed for conveying petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel, with a medium temperature range of -20°C to +120°C.Working conditions
1. The pump system’s maximum working pressure is 1.6 MPa, meaning the pump suction inlet pressure plus the pump head must not exceed 1.6 MPa. (If the pump system’s working pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, please specify this requirement at the time of order so that special steel materials can be used for the pump’s flow passages and connecting components during manufacturing.)
2. The medium to be conveyed is clean water or other fluids with physicochemical properties similar to water. (If the medium contains fine particles, please specify separately at the time of ordering to enable the installation of a wear-resistant mechanical seal.)
3. Ambient temperature should not exceed 40°C, and relative humidity should remain below 95%.Core structure
Vertical single-stage, single-suction design
Pump body: Features a vertical installation with inlet and outlet aligned on the same shaft, arranged at either 180° or 90° angles for easy pipeline connection.
Impeller: Designed as either closed or semi-open, with backward-curved blades that balance efficiency and cavitation resistance.
Pump shaft: Directly connected to the motor, made from stainless steel, offering high rigidity and minimal vibration.Integrated motor and pump design
Direct-drive transmission: The motor shaft is directly connected to the pump shaft via a coupling, eliminating belt-drive losses and increasing efficiency by 5%–8% compared to conventional pumps.
Protection rating: Motor protection rating IP54/IP55, insulation class F, suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -15°C to +40°C.Sealing and Bearing System
Mechanical Seal: Features a silicon carbide/carbon-graphite friction pair, offering excellent wear and corrosion resistance, with a leakage rate of ≤0.5 mL/h.
Bearing configuration: The upper end features a deep-groove ball bearing (which handles radial loads), while the lower end is equipped with an angular contact bearing (designed to handle axial loads). Service life ≥ 20,000 hours.Material Selection
Flow passage components: Available in cast iron (HT200), stainless steel (304/316L), copper alloys, and more, depending on the media characteristics.
Structural components: The pump housing is made of cast iron or stainless steel, while the motor casing features an aluminum alloy or cast iron exterior with a powder-coated finish.PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
High-efficiency and energy-saving design
Hydraulic Model Optimization: CFD simulations are used to refine the flow passages, resulting in an efficiency improvement of 8%–12% compared to conventional pipeline pumps.
Energy-saving data: When pumping 50 m³/h of clear water with a head of 20 meters, the power consumption is only 7.5 kW—15% more energy-efficient than comparable products.
Stable operational performanceLow-vibration design: The axial force-balancing structure minimizes vibration, with noise levels ≤75 dB (measured at 1 meter), meeting the requirements of GB/T 10889 standard.
High resistance to cavitation: Required Net Positive Suction Head (NPSHr) ≤ 2.5 m, making it ideal for applications with high suction lift requirements.Seamless operation
Wide-channel design: The channel width is ≥25mm, allowing smooth passage of impurities like fibers and particles, thereby reducing the risk of clogging.
Maintaining ease of use
Back-opening design: During maintenance, there’s no need to remove the piping—simply open the pump cover to replace components like the impeller and seals, reducing maintenance time by 60%.
