Positive displacement pump: Uses the cyclical change in the volume of the working chamber to transfer energy, thereby achieving fluid transport.
Vane pump: Relies on rotating vanes to transfer mechanical energy to the fluid. Commonly used types include centrifugal, axial flow, and mixed flow. Among them, the working principle of a centrifugal water pump is that under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the liquid is thrown outwards and pressed into the volute casing. After forming a vacuum, the water in the water pool is sucked into the space under the external atmospheric pressure along the suction pipe to replenish the space. In this way, water is continuously sucked and pressed; axial flow water pumps use the thrust generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller to lift water; the working principle of mixed flow pumps combines centrifugal force and lift.
